Defining Cambridge

Cambridge is probably different to any educational establishment you have experienced. It is a confederation of Schools, Faculties, Departments and 31 autonomous Colleges and is often referred to as a collegiate University. Students live, eat and socialise in one of the University’s 31 Colleges which provide access to a multi-disciplinary and international community as well as pastoral and academic support. Colleges provide small group teaching for undergraduates to compliment University lectures, seminars and practical work. If you are a national of a country in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, you do not need a visa to study in the UK.
