My Aim In Life

Introduction: Every man has an aim in life. It is viture. It seeks to do good to one's own-self and to others. I am now preparing for the S.S.C Examination. So I have given some though to fix my aim of life.

Difference in individual taste and ambitions: Different men have different tastes and aptitude. So they have different aims in life. Some want to be scholars, some want to be poets, some want to be businessman or industrialists, some want to be high officials and some others may like to be workers. There are many professions. So it is difficult to choose a correct one.

Life of an aimless man: The life of an aimless man usually ends in failure. A man without an aim is like a boat without a rudder. He cannot succeed in any sphere of life.

Choice of profession with reason: I am a man. So I have an aim of my own. The people of my village are poor. They suffer from many diseases. They don't get the help and advice of good doctors. So I like to help them.

Preparation: After passing the S.S.C Examination I shall read H.S.C (Pre-Medical)course. Next I shall join a medical college for the M.B.B.S degree. When I turn an M.B.B.S I shall go to my thana and take to medical profession.

Advantages and difficulties: In this profession I can have an independent life. Here I shall be able to earn money. I shall also be to do real service to the poor villagers. The rich will feed me and the poor will bless me. If I can earn money enough I shall set up a charitable dispensary for the treatment of all kinds of diseases. Practicing medicine is not always paying and a doctor's life is not always a bed of roses. Yet, with determination and industry I hope to tide over all difficulties and win success.

Conclusion: Success in life depends largely upon the right choice of profession. So we should think about our liking and abilities at time of making such a choice.
