Law of sale of goods:

Define of Sale, Essential Features of a Contact of sale of Goods. Sale and Agreement to Sell Distinguished, Conditions and Warranties, Passing of Property and Title and Transfer of Title, Deliver of Goods, Rights of an Unpaid Seller, Rights of an Unpaid Seller, Rights of Undelivered Buyer and Remedial Measures.

Law of Partnership

Definition and Nature of Partnership, Formation of Partnership, Rights, Duties and Liabilities of Partners, Dissolution of Partnership.

Law of Insurance

Definition, Nature and fundamental Principles of Insurance, Types of Insurance, Premium Policy, Re-insurance,, Double Insurance, Marine Insurance,  Fire Insurance, Life Insurance.

Law of Insolvency

Principles and Objective of the Insolvency Law, Procedure of Insolvency, property and Debts of Insolvent, Discharge of Insolvent.

Law of Carriage

Contact of Carriage, Classification of Carriers, Common Carriers, Carriage of Goods by land, Carriage of Goods by Sea, Carriage of Goods by Air.

Law of Negotiable Instruments

Definition, Characteristics and Types of Negotiable Instruments, Promissory notes, Bill of Exchange and Cheques, Special Provision Relating to cheques, Special Provisions Relating to Cheques, Parties to Negotiable Instruments, Presentation of Negotiable Instruments, Dishonour and Discharge Negotiable Instruments, Law relating to Artha Ria Adalat.

N. B: There will be ten Questions containing five Questions in each Group. The students will have to answer five questions taking three from one Group and two from other Group. 5✕20=100)
