Applications are invited for admission in MPH Program (Evening) in the Institute of Biological Sciences, University of Rajshahi in any one of the following four focus areas:

1. Epidemiology
2. Hospital Management
3. Dental Health
4. Community Medicine

Admission requirements:

Applicants from medical, dental, nursing, paramedics, physiotherapy, alternative medical care, public health, general sciences. agriculture, biological and chemical sciences and selected humanities background (including social sciences/ statistics/ economics/ psychology) will be eligible to apply for admission into the MPH programs. The following specific criteria are applicable for all applicants having different educational background:

a. Applicants with an MBBs degree:
MBBS degree recognized by BMDC + 1 year internship/residency/equivalent training in a recognized hospital.

b. Applicants with a BDs degree:
BDS degree recognized by BMDC + 1 year internship + 1 year working experience in public health area.

c. Applicants with nursing degree:
BSc in nursing recognized by Bangladesh Nursing Council + 2 years working experiences in public health area.

d. Applications with physiotherapy background:
BSc in Physiotherapy recognized by the appropriate government authority as applicable + 2 years working experiences in public health area.

e. Applicants with non-medical background:
Bachelor degree in professional disciplines (alternative medical care/agriculture) + 2 years working experience in public health area.

f. Applicants with master’s degree in non-professional background:
Master's degree in non-professional disciplines (general sciences, chemical and biological sciences, pharmacy, home economics, fisheries and livestock's, and social sciences, statistics, economics, psychology) + 2 years working experience in public health area.

g. Applicants from foreign countries:
International applicants are also encouraged to apply for admission into MPH programs on different disciplines.

Graduates having at least 2nd class (or equivalent GPA grades) from any recognized University will be eligible to apply. The candidates having third class/division in any academic examinations will not be eligible to apply.

Application Formalities:

Application package can be collected in person from the Institute or Biological Sciences, University of Rajshahi, 3rd Science Building, 3rd floor, Room No. 443 or by mail with a 1O"x5" size self-addressed envelope enclosing postage stamp of Tk. 351- during the office hours from 8.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. A nonrefundable application fee of Tk. 1500/- is required to be paid in cash or by a Bank Draft in favour of the Director, Institute of Biological Sciences, University of Rajshahi. The completed application form along with attested academic certificates/testimonial and two copies of passport size photograph should reach the office of the Institute of Biological Sciences on or before December 24, 2016. Candidates will be informed about date, time and the venue of admission test via SMS in due time.
